[NEWS] Chelsea closing on a deal to sign new striker

The summer transfer window is right around the corner , and we
always expected Chelsea could be one of the busier clubs.

However, this particular deal is probably for a different type of
priority, one we might well be seeing a lot more of in the coming
years.

Due to new Brexit rules introduced in January making it harder to
buy young players from abroad , Academies are looking lower down
the football pyramid to fill their Under-23s squad.

And according to The Telegraph, Chelsea are closing in on a deal
to sign 17-year old striker Jayden Wareham from non-league side
Woking.

Wareham was released by Queens Park Rangers two years ago but
he has been scouted by Southampton, Leicester City and West
Ham, but Chelsea looked to have pipped them to his signature.

As you will notice from a quick bit of Google research, he has also
trialled at Chelsea under 18s recently.
